Beach Volleyball has been busy as they have been facing some of the toughest competition in the state and nation. They traveled down to San Diego in mid-March where they competed against 3C2A number one ranked team in the south, San Diego Mesa. The tough competition did not end there as they competed against University of Saint Katherine and the University of Nebraska. They beat Grossmont in the same trip 3-2 with pairs Abby Cogburn and Franny Martins, Emma Daugherty and Kiyana Faupula, Maya Cann and Kristine Bakhad.
At the end of March, they faced two division one teams that are nationally ranked within the top ten. They faced #5 Cal Berkley and #6 Cal Poly SLO. Feather River started the GVC conference strong as they swept College of the Sikiyous 5-0 and Shasta College 5-0. For their home opener they faced both Lassen College and Shasta College. They swept both teams 5-0. Coming up for the Golden Eagles is a match up against Lassen College and College of the Siskiyous Friday April 19th at home starting at 11am.
