REDDING--There was no doubt or drama during Feather River's three-game sweep of Shasta in Redding on Thursday and Friday.

The Golden Eagles dismantled the Knights by the scores of 20-2, 9-2 and 16-3 to improve to 14-4 on the season and 5-1 in the Golden Valley Conference. Shasta dropped to 3-18 on the season and 2-6 in the GVC.

Feather River outscored their opponents on the road 45-7, and they featured a hit parade that saw 47 base knocks entered into the scorebook.

The Golden Eagles have the weekend to recover from crossing the plate so many times, but will jump back into action on Monday (March 11) with a single game vs. Siskiyous, with a start time of 2 pm. Next Friday, FRC will travel to the College of the Redwoods for a three-game slate, starting with a Friday doubleheader at noon and a Saturday single clash at noon.
