The Golden Eagles open up conference play on the road against Lassen College, January 10, 2024 in Susanville, CA at 5:00PM. The Golden Eagles begin conference play under new head Coach Derek Jensen while sporting an almost entirely new roster.

Here is what Head Coach Derek Jensen had to say about the 2023-2024 Men's Basketball team and season. "This is a brand-new coaching staff and roster. We only have one returner from last year's team. Our goal is to establish a winning culture both on and off the floor. This season it has been exciting to watch the team grow and learn within the tough schedule that they have had this year. We have an extremely talented group of players this season. Our sophomores are the core to this team. Marquis Hall-Wagner is our only returner from last year's roster. He brings poise, maturity and toughness. Our other sophomores are transfer Jonah Crumpton-Murray and Josh Carr. All three of these young men are key leaders to this year's young group. I encourage all FRC students and staff, along with all of the Quincy and Plumas County community to come check us out this year! We have a very exciting and hardworking group on the floor every night. Whether you want to see highlight reel dunks, tough nosed defense, or just a great win, being present at our home games is the place to be!"

The first home game the Golden Eagles will have will be Saturday, January 20th vs. College of the Redwoods.
