Win Streak Reaches Twelve As Golden Eagles Win Two

Quincy - The Feather River College volleyball team went on the road to the Folsom Lake Classic last week and came home with two more victories. The Golden Eagles swept West Valley College and Folsom Lake College 3-0 on Friday, September 16th. With the two wins, Feather River has pushed their winning streak to 12 matches and have an overall record of 14-1. 

The Golden Eagles were without reigning CCCWVCA Northern California Player of the Week in Nellie Stevenson, however, the offense didn't miss a beat. Britney Blomquist recorded 73 assists over the course of both matches. Carissa Chainey had 13 kills to lead the team versus West Valley and Hannah Taylor had 13 kills to lead the team versus Folsom Lake. Ava Saiers recorded 26 digs over the course of the two matches. 

Up next, the Golden Eagles hit the road once again and face Los Medanos College and Solano College at Solano College on Friday, September 23rd. On Saturday, September 24th, Feather River will face Fresno City College at Delta College.
