Quincy - The Feather River College women's volleyball team advanced to the State Championship of the CCCAA Women's Volleyball by defeating West Valley College 3-0 on Saturday (11/26). The Golden Eagles won by scores of 25-14, 25-18, and 25-21. 

Win the playoff victory, Feather River's overall record sits at 33-1 and a current winning streak of 31 victories in a row. 

The Golden Eagles were led offensively by Carissa Chainey who recorded 12 kills and 4 service aces. Eliana Sheridan scored 9 kills and 7 digs. Setter Nellie Stevenson dished out 29 assists and 10 digs. 

Up next, Feather River College travels down to Fresno City College to take on Grossmont College, the number 3 seed out of Southern California on Friday (12/2). Game time is at 1pm. The 2022 CCCAA Women's Volleyball State Championship Bracket can be found here.
