Golden Eagles Advance To State, Follow Their Journey

Quincy - The Feather River College women's volleyball team advanced to the State Championship of the 3C2A Women's Volleyball by defeating Lassen College 3-0 on Saturday (11/25). The Golden Eagles won by scores of 25-20, 25-17, and 25-19. 

Win the playoff victory, Feather River's overall record sits at 26-5 and a current winning streak of 6 victories in a row. 

The Golden Eagles were led offensively by Franny Martins who recorded 8 kills and 4 blocks. Kiyana Faupula recorded 7 kills and 4 blocks. Setter Anna Bolich dished out 30 assists and 3 block assists. 

Up next, Feather River College travels down to Mt. San Antonio College to take on Ventura College, the number 2 seed out of Southern California on Friday (12/1). Game time is at 1pm. The 2023 CCCAA Women's Volleyball State Championship Bracket can be found here. The Championships are held at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut California.
