Walnut - The Feather River College women's volleyball team defeated Ventura College in four sets Friday afternoon. With the victory, the Golden Eagles advance to play Irvine Valley College tomorrow (12/2) at 2pm. Feather River defeated the number two team out of Southern California by scores of 25-17, 25-27, 25-20 and 25-17.

The Golden Eagles were led by Sophomore Middle Blockers Kiyana Faupula and Franny Martins. Faupula recorded 12 kills and 7 blocks on the afternoon. Martins added 9 kills and 8 blocks for Feather River College. Second team All-American libero Katherine Gee recroded 23 digs. Setter Anna Bolich dished out 32 assists in the victory.
