Assistant Baseball Coach

Bio

Scott Dwyer enters his 3rd season on the Golden Eagles coaching staff. His primary responsibilities for the Golden Eagles will be coaching outfielders, bunting, baserunning, and working with hitters. He will also assist with recruiting and scouting opponents.

Coach Dwyer played his college ball at Feather River College from 2013-2015, before transferring to Centenary College in Louisiana and playing two years for the Gents in 2016 & 2017. He began his coaching career at the University of West Florida in 2021 & 2022, where he worked with catchers, hitters, and was the 1st base coach for the Argonauts.

Coach Dwyer received his A.A. degree from Feather River College, his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Centenary College, and his Master's degree in Human Performance from the University of West Florida. Scott is single and resides in Quincy.

      2016: D3 Gold Glove Award Winner

      2016 & 2017: All-Conference

*2019: Normal Cornbelters (Frontier League - Professional)

Coaching Career:

*2020-2022: Graduate Assistant, University of West Florida (NCAA D2)

*2023-2024: Associate Head Coach, Redding Colt 45's (Summer Collegiate Team)
