Juan Nunez enters his 18th year as the head athletic trainer at Feather River College. Born in Ecuador, Juan immigrated to the United States when he 10yrs old. After graduating from Thousand Oaks High School in 1994 he moved even further north and later graduated CSU Chico with both a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training and Master of Art's degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training in 2002. While at Chico State Juan played Lacrosse on their club team. In addition to the 13 intercollegiate programs at Feather River College Juan also has athletic training experience with club soccer, rugby, and lacrosse programs. 

Juan resides in Quincy with his wife, Magali, and their three children, Brody and Iza, and their oldest daughter Gaby. When not working one of FRC's nearly 100 home-sporting events, Juan enjoys spending time with family, including his grandchildren Sophia and Mia, and watching them all compete in a variety of sports, his personal favorite being soccer.
