Freshman running-back Janerious Jackson from Atlanta, GA led all rushers with 103 yards on 13 attempts when the Feather River Golden Eagles hosted Foothill College on Saturday, September 14th.  Quarterback Michael Kearns III completed 19 of 31 pass attempts for 216 yards and two touchdowns.  At 7:44 of the second quarter, Kearns III connected with Memo Valadez (Sophomore: Winters, CA) on a 20 yard TD reception.  Kearns III would later connect with 6'4, 240 lb Sophomore Trace Patterson from Sparks, NV on a 1 yard touchdown reception just before the close of the first half.  The Golden Eagles went into half-time trailing the Owls - 14-13.  Marco Casci recorded seven total tackles on the day, while defensive back Michael Bryant from Goodyear, AZ picked up his second interception of the season.  Bruno Likio and Aidan Flores each recorded a sack, with Julian Gregory recording his first interception of the season.  The Golden Eagles failed to score in the second half and as a result lost the contest 31-13.  Feather River College football will play next on Friday, September 20th at Diablo Valley College.  Game time is 5:30 PM - Click Here For Link to the Livestream!
