
Las Vegas Freshman, Michael Kearns III has begun two of the Golden Eagles first four games with an early long touchdown strike to Jeremiah Nash. Kearns III finished the afternoon with 178 yards passing and one touchdown. Jeremiah Nash caught five passes for 85 yards, including a 48 yard touchdown in the first quarter. Janerious Jackson rushed for 50 yards on 30 attempts, while freshman kicker Chris Rapoza from Kapaa' ,HI chipped in two field goals. On the defensive side of the ball, sophomore defensive back JT Hawk from Reno, Nevada recorded 10 total tackles (7 solo) with Marco Casci also achieving 10 total tackles (6 solo). Elijah Stafford-McNutt from Auburn, Washington finished the contest with 7 total tackles and one sack. The Golden Eagles fell to College of the Sequoias 37-13. Feather River has a week five bye and will play next on Saturday, October 12th at Reedley College - game time is 1:00 PM
