The Golden Eagles Football team hosted Shasta College on Saturday, October 26th at Brennan Stadium in Quincy, CA.  Freshman running-back Janerious Jackson from Atlanta, GA rushed for 140 yards and scored one touchdown on 17 carries.  Kyle Valdez  from Lehi, Utah led all FRC recievers with 61 yards on 2 balls caught, including a 49 touchdown reception.  Isaac Matthews from Glendale, AZ scored a rushing touchdown and caught two passes on the evening, while Sophomore H-Back Trace Patterson finished with 51 yards on 4 catches.  The Golden Eagles tallied 448 yards of total offense with 274 yards coming from a very effective ground attack.  Linebacker Marco Casci from Sparks, NV led the defense with 8 total tackles, joined by Defensive Lineman Bruno Likio from Kapaa', HI who finished the contest with 4 total tackles, including one tackle for a loss and one sack.  The Golden Eagles fell to Shasta 48-28 and will play next at Santa Rosa College on Saturday, November 2nd - game start time is 5:00 PM.
