2025 has begun for the Golden Eagles Softball Team!! On Friday, January 24th - FRC defeated Cosumnes River 6-1 behind a stellar pitching performance from Freshman, Brittney Byram (Reno, NV).  Byram pitched a complete game, scattering 5 hits and giving up just one run.  Sophomore 2nd Baseman, Brooklyn Baray (Riverside, CA) knocked in two runs while going 2-4 with a run scored, while Freshman Mckynlee Gay  (Quincy, CA) scored two runs after hitting a double and triple.  The Golden Eagles completed a very successful opening weekend by defeating Cosumnes River 6-1 in Game 1 - Monterey Peninsula 4-2 in Game 2 - Monterey Peninsula 4-3 (10 innings) in Game 3 - before dropping Game 4 to Consumnes River 5-3.  The Golden Eagles are postponed (weather) for Friday's contests against San Joaquin Delta.  Please visit our schedule for updates, scores, stats, and livestreaming!
