Quincy, CA – Despite facing a series of challenges, including a canceled season and a coaching change, the Feather River College Women's Basketball program is making a strong comeback under the leadership of Head Coach Ashley Chavira and Assistant Coach Mac Baker. The duo has set their sights on rebuilding the program from the ground up and is already seeing early success with nine committed players, with more on the way.

Chavira and Baker have worked tirelessly since taking over the program to assemble a talented roster with the goal of returning the program to prominence. With the current basketball season still in full swing, the commitment of nine players marks a substantial step forward in what promises to be an exciting and transformative year for the Golden Eagles.

"Rebuilding a program is never easy, but the dedication and hard work from our staff has been incredible," said Coach Chavira. "We're excited for what's to come and look forward to continuing to build a team that reflects the values and excellence of Feather River College."
