Quincy - The Feather River College volleyball team is gearing up for the start of the 2024 season starting this Friday (8/23). Coach Sarah Ritchie, who is entering her 19th season, has announced the 2024 schedule. The Golden Eagles start preseason matches with last years 9th ranked team in California, Sierra College on August 23rd at 4:00pm at the Sacramento City College Quad. Following the match against Sierra College, the Golden Eagles take on the host college Sacramento City College at 6:00pm. 

Feather River will stay in the Sacramento area and take on last years 6th ranked team in the American River College Beavers on Saturday (8/24) at 11:00am in the American River Tri. The Golden Eagles will finish up the day against De Anza College at 1:00pm.  

The Golden Eagles, the 2023 3C2A Championship Runner-ups, preseason schedule also includes traveling to the NorCal vs. SoCal Showcase at Fresno City College in late August and the Delta Classic at Delta College in early September. The first Golden Valley Conference match will be against College of the Redwoods on Friday, October 11th at 6:00pm in Humboldt, California.

The 2024 home schedule will feature four Golden Valley Conference opponents, starting on October 23rd at 6:00pm vs. College of the Siskiyous. The other matches to be held at home this season include Shasta College (11/1), Butte College (11/8) and Lassen College on (11/15). Full schedule details can be found here.
