William McKenzie enters his third year as Defensive Line Coach at Feather River College. Coach McKenzie also works on campus as our Student Life and Engagement Specialist.
Coach McKenzie is entering his ninth year of coaching. Within in first year of coaching at FRC, he helped 2 student-athletes,Bombek Jan-Phillip and Garces Daniel, obtain All-Conference honors. He also coached 4 student-athletes who obtained scholarships to 4 year institutions.
Prior to coaching the Defensive Line in 2017, McKenzie coached San Leandro High School in the Bay Area for 5 years. McKenzie coached the Defensive Line at SLHS, grooming 3 Defensive Players of the Year and multiple All-Conference athletes.
McKenzie played at St. Joseph's College, Indiana where he earned All-Conference honors as a Freshman.
McKenzie is a native of Oakland, California. He is married to his wife, Joy, and has 3 children JuJu, 7, Legend, 4, and Sekani, 1.
