Golden Eagles Sophomore Derrick Monroe from Las Vegas, NV led all scorers with 27 points on Friday evening as Feather River defeated College of the Sequoias 79-72.  College of the Sequoias came into the contest with an 8-2 record and a top 10 state ranking.  The FRC versus COS contest has now become a family affair as FRC is led by Head Coach Derek Jensen and COS is led by Head Coach Dallas Jensen.  The two brothers have now squared off against each other two times this season with COS winning the first contest and FRC winning the second.  Freshman Guard Kaeden Castillero from Las Vegas, NV had a solid evening scoring 16 points, along with Damonte Duhart who added 14 points.  The Golden Eagles move to 10-4 overall on the season and will play next on Friday, December 20th at Gavilan College - game time is 7:00 PM.
