Freshman Guard Jah'kiaus Jones from Thomson, Georgia scored 14 points on Saturday afternoon while playing stellar defense and most importantly "hitting his free throws". Jones converted 6 of 6 from the free throw line, including 4 very crucial points inside the two minute mark. Derrick Monroe led all scorers with 20 points while Elijah Blythe scored 18 from the Lassen side. Kaeden Castillero from Las Vegas chipped in 12 points (all from outside the 3 point line). The Golden Eagles move to 16-9 overall and are on a 3 game win streak in GVC Conference play. Feather River College will play next on Saturday, February 15th at College of the Redwoods. Game time is 1:00 PM.
