Conrad Gooley joins the Feather River College soccer programs as the associate head soccer coach. A 2017 FRC graduate, Gooley transferred to NCAA DII Concordia University, Portland where he graduated in 2019 with a bachelor’s of science in Exercise & Sports Science. He is currently working towards his master’s degree in higher education at the University of Portland.
During his playing days for the Golden Eagles, Gooley excelled both on and off the field. He was a scholar All-American and captained the team during his sophomore year, leading them to an undefeated regular season and Golden Valley Conference Championship. The Gold Coast, Australian native helped the team to the Elite Eight two years in a row in the CCCAA Championship. Upon transferring to Concordia University-Portland, Gooley immediately settled into the GNAC. During his senior year at Concordia, the former Golden Eagle left-back played a crucial part as a central midfielder as the Cavilers of Concordia recorded the highest ever finish in the GNAC.
