The Golden Eagles Men's Soccer Team traveled to Los Positas College on Tuesday, September 24th to take on the #11 ranked team in the state.  Freshman Diego Martin from Valladolid, Spain scored FRC's first goal just 30 seconds into the match.  Sophomore Ryan Tappouras from Brisbane, Austraila who is coming off a 3 goal performance against Mendocino on Saturday recorded the assist.  Feather River maintained the 1-0 lead through-out the contest until Freshman Frank Agongna  from Rotterdam, Netherlands scored late with an assist from Diego Martin. Freshman Winston Jory from Brisbane, Austraila secured the shut-out with 8 saves.  The Golden Eagles handed Los Positas their first loss on the season with a 2-0 victory.  Feather River will play next on Friday against undefeated #12 Evergreen Valley on Friday, September 27th.  The game will be played at Evergreen Valley College, start time is 6:00 PM.
