Sophomore Alexis Gutierrez Soria from Oroville, CA scored a pivotal goal in the Golden Eagles 2024 Men's Soccer season on Friday, October 18th at Butte College. Alexis put Feather River up 1-0 in the 20th minute of the contest - David O'Sullivan from Cobh Cork, Ireland recorded the assist. Goalkeeper Winston Jory from Brisbane, Austraila was stellar at goal, securing his 2nd straight shut-out and 5th of the season. Standing at 6 feet 5 inches tall, Center Back Zane Pederson from Sunshine Coast, Austraila was stellar defensively, while Lehlogonolo Manamela (Nolo) controlled much of the action in the late stages of the contest. The Golden Eagles move to 10-6-1 on the season, but more importantly - 5-0 in Golden Valley Conference play. The Golden Eagles will play next on Tuesday, October 29th at home versus College of the Siskiyous. Game time is 4:00 PM.
